In the meantime, here’s a flavour of some of our most popular classes.
Men’s Grub Club
If you’re a man aged over 60, and would like to pick up some cooking skills and meet others of a similar age, this is for you. Learn how to make delicious, comforting meals alongside your neighbours, then sit down and enjoy the food together.
Wraps and Wedges
Bring your children to the Cook for Good Kitchen to learn how to make the kind of food they love to eat – from scratch. Our chefs will take them through the recipes step by step, and help them use kitchen equipment safely too.
Loving your Leftovers
We all have bits and bobs lurking in our fridges that we’re not sure how to use – but it’s easier than you’d think to turn them into a meal. From roasted vegetable rolls to an ‘everything in’ rice salad, these dishes will save you money and help avoid waste.
Cook with your Pantry Basket
Come and find out how to make delicious, healthy meals from the kind of things you can pick up in our Pantry. Our chef will be given a basket of ingredients from the week’s delivery, and challenged to turn them into dishes, Ready Steady Cook style.
Cook for Health
This course is designed to build a community of people with diabetes, and explore how to cook meals and make lifestyle changes which will have a positive effect on their condition. It’s a six-month course, run in partnership local GP Dr Jane Myat.
Essential Knife Skills
Join us for an intro class, covering the basic knife skills that will help you prepare meals quickly and safely. Our chef will get you slicing and dicing with proper kitchen knives to make delicious meals from scratch. You’ll be surprised at the difference it makes!
