Come on in: our community programme
We've brought two disused spaces back into community use on the Priory Green Estate, near Kings Cross. We're using them to host a food-based programme that brings people together and teaches them new skills.
We run cooking courses and classes, provide training and work experience to help residents access paid jobs, and cook up regular community meals for residents to enjoy with friends and neighbours. And our surplus food pantry gives members the chance to top up their weekly shop at a big discount, grab a coffee or some soup, and chat with their neighbours.

Cooking classes & courses
Learn to make meals you’ll love to eat
From our Men's Grub Club and Cook for Health courses to holiday sessions for kids, our classes and courses aim to take the fear out of cooking and encourage people of all ages to get stuck in.
All our classes and courses are free, and we’ll provide the ingredients. You’ll also get to stay and enjoy what you’ve made with your group, or take it to eat at home.
Come along to learn new skills, create quick and easy meals and meet up with others in your community.

The Pantry
Become a member for discounted weekly shopping
We’ve joined forces with The Felix Project and Food Bank Aid to provide a surplus food pantry, where members can help limit food waste and top up their weekly shop with healthy food, all for a fraction of the usual cost.
There is a range of fresh, frozen and storecupboard food available each week. And we also serve tea, coffee, pastries and a choice of soups and breads in our adjoining soup café.

Community meals
Share a meal with your friends and neighbours
Once a month, a corporate team comes in to cook and serve a meal for around 60 local residents.
It’s a great way to catch up with your friends and neighbours for a bite and a chat - and you won’t even have to do the washing up.
